At the Church of the Brethren’s recently concluded Annual Conference, the delegate body formally affirmed the denomination’s Compelling Vision statement:

Together, as the Church of the Brethren, we will passionately live and share the radical transformation and holistic peace of Jesus Christ through relationship-based neighborhood engagement. To move us forward, we will develop a culture of calling and equipping disciples who are innovative, adaptable, and fearless.

The vision statement is intentionally broad, seeking to encompass the breadth of experiences and perspectives across the denomination.

Which, as a district, leads us to ask—what does this Compelling Vision mean for us?

How will our individual congregations in the Pacific Northwest, as well as our collective district body, live into and live out these words?

Join us as we explore these questions together during our two-day district conference, Friday and Saturday, September 17th and 18th.
